I wrote this when remembering a young woman I was besotted with when I was a young man. I was performing with a band weekly in a food-court and she worked at the Japanese food stall. I went out on a limb one Valentines Day and bought her a dozen red roses and had them delivered anonymously. She did not respond in the way I had hoped.......but I got a good song out of it at least!
